This is the program of free open access online seminars being held in 2009 using the Elluminate web conference program. Elluminate will be provided free of charge by Otago Polytechnic.

Safe motherhood is more than just maternity
Tricia Thompson, midwife and Programmes Officer for Asia, will be talking about her work for Caritas, an organization for aid and development in developing countries.

There is no funding for this, so speakers would be donating their time to support colleagues.

Format of seminars

The format for the seminars will be a formal presentation by the speaker for about 10 minutes and then participants will have the opportunity to discuss the presentation and ask questions. The seminars will last approximately one hour. The seminars will recorded and archived in this wiki.

Facilitation

Do not worry if you have had no experience of using Elluminate. A facilitator will be present to deal with all technical issues and lead the discussions after the main presentation.
